Peter Cardarelli,whose new CD "Knights of The Living Groove"is getting very warm reviews, has performed in over 3,500 jazz concerts and toured throughout the USA,Canada, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria,Hungary, Italy, Spain,  and even the Ukraine. In Ukraine he was the first American to recieve a diploma as an Artist of the Ukraine at the All Ukraine Jazz fest 2001!

The European Magazine Music Life gave Peter Cardarelli 4 stars on Bratislava Blue CD and said that Mr Cardarelli played in concert, Funk, Be-bop, Groove, and Jazz-Rock and back again! And entertained the crowds with his engaging stage presence, a true virtuoso and showman.

In Europe has played with many different groups besides his own , including the  Italian trio of Antonio Ciacca (piano, Danilo Gallo (bass), Amedeo Ariano (drums). This trio,as well as other ensembles Peter has fronted,fit well into the Cardarelli style, having been  the trio behind soloists such as Johnny Griffin, Steve Grossman and Benny Golson.However, Peter is now involved with his Groove-Jazz band "Comfort Zone" which works clubs,concerts and Jazz Fests throughout Central Europe to much acclaim from the press and audiances..Peter recently performed a live ORF Radio concert in Vienna and it was an outstanding success.Recently in Vienna Peter performed  improvised jazz to poety readings read by acclaimed film star Claus Maria Brandaur.He has played for Presidents,Prime Ministers,Royalty,Ambassadors from Spain to  Ukraine; all of whom responded with the acclaim an artist such as Peter should recieve;Ovations,and many smiles.

In Central Europe Peter Cardarelli also works with the musicians ,who along with these Italian musicians, recorded CDs with some of the greats in European Jazz such as, Juraj Kalasz , Gabriel Jonas , Oldo Petras , Juro Griglak , Matus Jacubcic , Peter Preloznik ,Peter Lipa,Martin Marincek, Andrej Seban (guitar)Palo Bodnar,Martin Gaspar,Marcel Buntaj,Dodo Sosoka,Peter Adamkovic and the who's who of Slovak Jazz.

In America Peter Cardarelli´s groups have opened up for Maynard Ferguson, B.B. King, Kool And The Gang, Jay Leno, James Cotton ... and many more. Among the many artists that Peter Cardarelli opened for in Europe, to name a few, are Lew Tabakin, James Carter, Kurt Elling,Marcus Miller and many others,and has jammed with such greats as Hiram Bullock and Omar Hakim amoung many other greats in Jazz.

Before transfering himself from the USA to Europe, Peter was on the faculty of music at The University of Massachusetts at Boston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude,and for nearly ten years taught Saxophone,,jazz improvisation, Big Band, and was a regular part of the Boston Jazz scene with players such as Greg Burk and Rick Schilling.and many more.

He was also a jazz instructor at the North Shore Community Collegue, where was was given the 1996 award for innovation in instruction for his History of Jazz course.

 Peter Cardarelli is also a jazz Journalist and has the distinction of having the first all jazz page, in Czecho-Slovak history, writing commentarys and reviews for What's On Bratislava & Slovakia Magazine.
